Flip’n’Tip Fred

The arrival of the recycling lorry to collect our paper, tins and bottles is always the cause of great excitement in our household; it is usually accompanied by whoops, yells and a dash for the best vantage point to watch the fun! If your kids are the same here is a toy to help encourage that early interest in recycling.

Flip’n’Tip Fred is a green, red and yellow recycling lorry from WOW, who make a whole range of environmentally friendly, battery-free cars and trucks. The lorry comes complete with two plastic people to collect the rubbish along with an assortment of recycling containers.

Fred is friction-powered with tip and release action, and despite the lack of batteries makes realistic engine sounds – all without the constant demands to recharge the batteries (you do use rechargables don’t you?!) which is as good for your temper as it is for the planet!
