Marie Claire Partners We Are What We Do For 'Plastic Ain't My Bag' Shopper Launch

Glossy women's magazine Marie Claire, is joining We Are What We Do to launch the social change movement's Plastic Ain't My Bag shopper, which will be covermounted with the December 2007 issue.

The free organic cotton shopper, adorned with the striking Plastic Ain't My Bag logo, is sturdy enough for Christmas shopping, supporting We Are What We Do's campaign to make this year a plastic bag free Christmas. The We Are What We Do message of small actions x lots of people = BIG change fits well with Marie Claire's long support of environmental, ethical and social issues.

David Robinson, founder of We Are What We Do, says: “The opportunity to partner with Marie Claire is yet another way for us to spread our message about small actions x lots of people = BIG change. This Plastic Ain't My Bag shopper (inspired by our first action 'Decline plastic bags whenever possible') is a fantastic way to raise the profile of our campaign.”

Marie Claire publishing director Richard Johnstone says: “Marie Claire is wholly supportive of We Are What We Do and its Plastic Ain't My Bag campaign. Being able to make a positive contribution to campaigns like this via Marie Claire is a real benefit for our readers and to do so in such a stylish way with this organic cotton shopper is ideal.”
