Don't Bring Loo Roll to Glastonbury Say Festival Organizers

The organisers of Glastonbury Festival are urging revellers to leave the loo roll at home. The Festival has announced a partnership with toilet tissue brand Nouvelle that will provide every single visitor with a free roll of recycled loo paper.

The generous offer supports Glastonbury Festival's green policy: to reduce waste and encourage recycling.

Michael Eavis, owner of Worthy Farm in Pilton, which stages the Glastonbury Festival, commented: "We're encouraging people to be as green as possible at this year's Festival. The definitive example of our policy is our decision to invite Nouvelle on board as an official recycling partner to the festival, to give away free recycled toilet tissue.

"Nouvelle is providing hundreds of thousands of free loo rolls and our message is very simple: 'do not bring loo roll to the festival', there will be more than enough for everyone, and more importantly, it will be the right kind of loo roll."

As well as handing out free rolls of recycled toilet tissue, Nouvelle is also helping with recycling collections at Glastonbury. It will provide free colour coded bin bags to enable festival goers to segregate waste for recycling.

Nouvelle toilet tissue is made from 100% high quality recycled paper - from the roll to the core. Nouvelle makes an important contribution to the environment by reusing UK collections of waste paper which otherwise might go to landfill.

Christine Clarke, Marketing Director for Nouvelle commented: "We're delighted that every festival goer at Glastonbury will have access to free Nouvelle recycled toilet tissue. By using Nouvelle, people will be making an important contribution to the environment and by reusing waste they will also be helping to close the recycling loop."

As consumers become increasingly conscious of the need to preserve the environment, Nouvelle's partnership with Glastonbury further demonstrates its commitment to helping to make the UK greener.
